A while now…

So. Been workin’ on this sketchy pic of a netherdrake-like thing for awhile now. It’s my first attempt at drawing, seriously, with photoshop. KNow what? I’m friggin’ loving it. It’s so much fun…and with some practice I think that I can do alright by it. Aside from that…I also have a load of things to do that are school and wedding related:

-Work on the armature for my horse sculpture

-Book a DJ for the wedding

-Book a hotel(s) for the wedding night and the nights afterwards

-Work on a “container” for my ceramics class

-Get a complete list of people whom I am going to have invited to the wedding, from both sides of the family and their said addresses.

-Decied on invitations and perhaps even “Save the Date” cards.

-Make sure everyone knows to book a hotel room ahead of tiem if they are from downstate or out of state. (Wedding is in N.Michigan and most family is from downstate.)

 

I’m sure there’s more that I’m missing. Recently I have given thought to ranting every now and then in this blog just to blow off steam. I think that writing is an amazingly great way to relieve stress with out actually begin a jerk-face. Well…it works most of the time, anyhow. The ranting I’m talking about is, or would mostly be related to, well hell, anything that ticks me off. I don’t have a rant prepped, but rest assured I will have them in the future. (Not that anyone reads this blog anyhow -_-) Alright…off to work at the studio and think about all the other things I have to do.

 

Inrtroducing Ruzha

This is Ruzha, my worgen druid on Feathermoon. She doesn’t have a complete back story yet, as I have to work out a few kinks and make sure that everything is correct where lore is concerned. I don’t want to put my foot into my mouth. So far, she’s reserved and a little shy except for the occasional outbursts that may or may not surprise people. She’s not a kid, (obviously)  but she’s not older, if that makes sense. I am supposing that she’s about 28 or so. As for her specific story before the Gilneans joined the Alliance…well still working on that…though I’m thinking that she probably had sensitivity for the druidic arts (as most druids or those that become druids do). I also know that she loves being outdoors, often taking long forays into the wild or less populated areas (long = days at a time, though not much longer than a week.) Despite this, she loves a warm fire/Inn and good company though she may not say to much. More on her later, along with pictures of her worgen self/human self.

Horse in Arabic

Today, during my ceramics class I learned how to write “horse” in Arabic. As such, when I was done with my in class assignments, I went to work making necklace pendants. One of them has “horse” in arabic written on it. Being in a rush to get back to my apartment to shower, I forgot to take pictures of them. Yep. >.> In lieu (how ever you spell that word…!) of that, I have something else for you guys: Pony!

Thankfully years of RPing on forums came in handy! I had a chance-rp encounter on Feathermoon (RP) tonight! Holy crap, it was nothing special, but it was fun. I mean really, really fun. Yep. First time ever. I’m such a dork.

Mandatory Introductory Post-Thing!

Ah yes, that post.

Anyhow.

This blog, I think, is going to be used for any and all writing ramblings, sketch and finished drawings.

Yep.

Really, that’s it. I promise it will get more interesting. First though, I must get all settled in back at college before I can think about adding to this blog. It’s going to be a sort of goal for me-a writing ramble or drawing a day will be posted here. Tough goal, I think, but I really want to do it. I think it’ll be good for me. Also, any time that I actually fall behind, a day or so-the number of days that I miss will be made up in total on the day that i do the make-up. That’s fair to me, I think. Anyways, I’m excited to get started.

Oh, and random theme changes will follow until I settle on something
